The next chapter
In 2024 we’re launching an exciting, brand-new TV Shopping channel. We’re excited to bring our vast range of ‘must have’ products to life on screen, 24 hours a day, nationwide.
Located in a very prominent position on SKY and other platforms, our brand new channel will be available to tens of millions of homes nationwide. Utilising some seriously clever, custom-built-technology, we’re bringing Shopping TV into the 21st century…this is not your grandma’s shopping TV channel!
This Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join us on our fast-growth journey!
We’re looking for an experienced live gallery Director/ Vision Mixer to join our broadcast team.
You’ll be switching ‘as live’ studio-based content which will be broadcast on our new, national TV shopping channel.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Operating and controlling the vision mixing desk during recording sessions, seamlessly transitioning between multiple camera shots, video sources, graphics, VTs and other visual elements
- Collaborate closely with the presenters, guest experts, producer, PTZ camera operator, floor manager and other crew members to ensure a smooth and visually appealing production
- Ensure confidence and in-vision monitors have the correct feeds at all times
- Ensuring proper framing, focus, and quality on all video feeds
Person Profile
You’ll excel in this role if you have the following skills & experience:
- Vision Mixing in a live home shopping environment
- Proficiency in handling complex multi-camera setups and live switching techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various production crew members.
