Join this industry-leading film and digital service provider, in a client-facing commercial business development role. 


Previous experience in HETV/Motion pictures is highly desirable.

THE COMPANY


Our client works on high end TV drama and major motion pictures providing expert technicians on-set, through to film scanning and full picture post.


THE ROLE


As Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategy, fostering client relationships, and expanding market presence. 

What the job will look like:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to promote the business as a destination and leading service provider
  • Lead initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding active client list and income streams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their present and future needs
  • Actively participate in industry events, screenings, awards, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance market presence
  • Sit on the senior management team, contributing to decision making on all aspects of the company
  • Provide oversight and strategic direction to the marketing department, aligning marketing efforts with overall business goals
  • Provide effective leadership to the sales focused team members, setting ambitious targets, and implementing performance metrics to achieve company growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making
  • Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with industry standards
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing commercial team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.


THE PERSON 


With a proven track record in commercial leadership within the post-production or media industry, you will have strong business acumen and a track record of successful commercial strategy implementation.


Ideally you will already have strong contacts within the motion picture and HETV sector, and be able to demonstrate exceptional client relationship management skills.


You will demonstrate a strong ability to lead business development efforts and achieve sales targets, as well as having excellent negotiation and contract management skills.


Familiarity with post-production workflows and industry best practices is essential.
