Business Development Manager

A key sales role for a leading content management company. 


With offices in London and LA, we manage, localise and deliver content globally for some of the leading entertainment companies.

 

We are now looking for a dynamic sales person to develop new and existing relationships, and help drive growth.

About the role

 

Summary:

We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our UK sales team with experience across the TV, Film, Broadcast, Localisation, Digital Cinema, and the digital media supply chain.

 

The role is to make sure we are the leading partner for transactional digital media work and the long-term supplier for media asset management services.

 

You will bring great contacts, networking, communication, negotiation and presentation skills to represent our business at the highest levels of decision making. 

 

Specific Responsibilities/Requirements:        

  • Management of own sales targets
  • In conjunction with the team review, revise and roll out sales strategy
  • Business Development for allocated markets and sectors
  • Senior / Board-level closing
  • Set a high standard for the quality of our work
  • Market research and find prospective clients
  • Contribute towards marketing initiatives
  • Write pitch & tender documentation
  • Client Networking
  • Create partnerships and alliances with mutually beneficial organisations
  • Monitoring of sales pipelines
  • Proactive use of CRM software
  • Increase profitability in sales situations
  • Sales focus to be outbound & client facing
  • Manage client visits
  • Effectively interact and communicate with staff and clients
  • Maintain a ‘no job is too big and no job is too small’ attitude.

 

Candidate Requirements


The successful candidate must have a demonstrably successful track record in a similar area - and extensive industry contacts in their address book

Qualifications & experience: 

  • 5+ years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge across digital media, VOD, digital cinema or localization essential
  • Resident in the UK.

 

Details

Remuneration will be competitive and negotiable, dependent on experience.
