About Us

New Regency is a major Hollywood producer of Academy Award winning, globally released theatrical feature films with a catalogue of around 170+ films and several new releases a year.  The film slate includes such films as global box office phenomenon, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Revenant, Gone Girl and Mr & Mrs Smith.

The Role

The Company has an immediate opening for an accomplished sales executive to work across international territories (including Central & Eastern Europe and possibly others depending on candidates’ experience).  

The ideal candidate(s) is an experienced and highly regarded sales executive with an outstanding track record in television sales, particularly in the film sector.  An accomplished deal maker who can drive growth in the regions and establish positive and productive client relationships.  

These are newly created roles and therefore territory allocations will be subject to experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Source, negotiate and close deals and see these through to delivery within the allocated territories
  • Maintain relationships with all key broadcasters in the allocated regions and building new relationships with broadcasters and digital platforms to ensure their needs are understood and all business leads, and opportunities are explored
  • Expand the number of licenses both with existing and new clients.  Create client specific avails and marketing to target buyers and then follow up to close deals
  • To be able to effectively demonstrate increased value and/or optimised terms for all deals and loop in with relevant departments, sales planning, legal, rights admin, marketing & production to ensure all parties communicating effectively and knowledgeable about all business
  • Be the expert in the territory for NR and provide specific feedback on local market knowledge & trends and provide strategic direction for the business
  • Feedback relevant information from key buyers to assist with forward planning and future project development
  • Provide sales estimates where necessary for new projects either in development or in acquisition and work with all teams to set challenging but achievable annual sales targets.
  • Responsibility for achieving set targets.

Candidate Profile

Key Criteria:

  • Highly regarded in this field, with the ability to demonstrate previous experience in international television sales
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic decision-making skills to reach solutions, coupled with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of film windowing for Current titles
  • Experience in and a desire to explore new business models and current emerging rights trends
  • Motivated self-starter with experience working with both start-up and established businesses
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional written English.  Ability speak a foreign language an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and further relationships, while staying current with market trends and conditions.
