Business Partnerships Manager – O4697

A crucial business partnerships opportunity has arisen at the prestigious Royal Opera House.

The role will contribute to the development of the company’s partnerships and fundraising strategy through establishing significant client relationships.

The ORGANISATION

The Royal Opera House offers world-class opera, ballet, music and dance live on stage at their iconic theatre in Covent Garden and through a variety of digital media, including live streaming to cinemas around the world.

As a charity, it could not maintain its extensive programme of artistic work, community and outreach projects, without the additional support of fundraising and business partner relationships.

The ROLE

To contribute towards the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy by articulating the case for support for business partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of client relationships to generate business growth
  • Recommend a strategic approach to the identification of new corporate prospects, and develop relationships with new donors and sponsors
  • Create, prepare and promote proposals, sponsorship packages and partnerships, matching projects and packages to client needs
  • Incorporate best practice, including use of metrics, in the design and delivery of each client programme
  • Develop relationships which support the wider team objectives in Development and Enterprises and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

The CANDIDATE

With solid sponsorship or corporate fundraising experience, you will have a thorough understanding of generating revenue through establishing strong partner relationships.  Your understanding of the full marketing mix including digital will provide a good basis for proposing metrics and reporting on the success of projects for business partners.

You will have the ability to take on an ambassador role for the ROH, building on strong client relationships and drawing on creativity and problem-solving skills to design and deliver bespoke packages.

Your commitment to managing your own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role will underpin your progress.

An interest in learning more about the work of the Royal Opera House, and the art forms of opera and ballet will support you in this role.

The Royal Opera House actively encourage BAME and disabled applicants and value the positive impact difference has on its teams.

The REWARDS

A competitive salary is available to the successful candidate. Other benefits include enrollment to the ROH defined contribution pension scheme, an interest-free season ticket loan, and access to a range of in house facilities, including staff restaurant and wellbeing programmes.
