Job Introduction

Our client is looking for someone who is hugely passionate about working in TV.  This is a great opportunity for a junior level TV Graduate who has gained some experience within a broadcast admin related role.


Knowledge of Commercial Traffic / Adsales experience would be ideal, however we will also be keen to speak to candidates from a Content Operations, Presentation Scheduling, Adsales support or any Broadcast Coordinator role.


About the Role

The Commercial Operations Coordinator is responsible for the overall day to day operation of their designated channels within the Commercial Operations department.

This involves both the scheduling and delivery of all commercial content for feeds within UK and Emerging Markets.


The Commercial Operations team is responsible for the accurate placement of insertion orders into the scheduling logs and ensuring they are compliant with the regional advertising agencies.


Communication and pro-activity is key to the role, maintaining and building on relationships with the Presentation Scheduling teams, regional advertising agencies, media preparation facility and channel management teams.


Proven Commercial Operations/Traffic and/or Presentation Scheduling experience is highly desirable, as is a basic understanding of broadcast workflows.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Coordination and scheduling of commercial material
  • Checking spots inserted match agency insertion orders
  • Creation of break patterns and provision to ad sales agencies
  • Liaise with Ingest team on missing content, and chase agencies
  • Reporting of commercial related log errors
  • Capturing key performance data for metrics reporting
  • Produce as-run reports as required by agencies
  • Communicate with internal/external teams to ensure deadlines are met and campaigns air as planned.
  • Troubleshooting issues and problem solving
  • Direct campaign and sponsorship bookings
  • Create media plans as and when required
  • Ensure UK teleshopping scheduled matches agency rotations.
