Account Manager

We are now searching for a talented individual to join our Client Services team to support this evolving & exciting area of the business.

Role summary:

 

Reporting directly into the heads of the Department, the role will include developing relationships with new and existing clients and helping maintain and support the various operating systems.

 

You will be managing major client accounts and digital/tape workflows across internal departments in line with client priorities and service level agreements.

 

You will have the experience and attitude to thrive in this busy, high-pressure role, where you will liaise regularly with clients and internal departments with an assured, can-do, organised style.

 

A detailed understanding of digital media and tape workflows is essential. 

 

Principal Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

 

  • Plan and agree project plans for deliverables with clients, generate accurate orders in line with company procedures, and undertake research where required
  • Monitor order progress and handle scheduling conflicts internally and externally
  • Identify potential service delivery failures, handle rejections and discrepancy reports, and take remedial action accordingly
  • Build relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments, adhere to workflows, procedures and security protocols
  • Collaborate with Sales where applicable to build and grow client relationships.  Communicate potential opportunities for growth to Sales and Senior Management.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to ensure the smooth running of projects
  • Liaising with clients and 3rd party facilities regarding delivery schedules.

 

Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities Required:

 

  • Knowledge of working with and initiating digital material solutions
  • Knowledge of digital technologies and software able to support distribution
  • Proven experience of managing the delivery of content to the top tier VOD or Broadcast platforms
  • Prior experience in account management or a similar role within TV/Post Production/Facilities
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about film and TV
  • A high standard of influencing and interpersonal skills, in order to build and develop strong client and internal relationships
  • Confident at building and maintaining strong business relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrating attention to detail, project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Flexible attitude, confident communicator with strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure of tight deadlines, working with other members of the client services team and operations to ensure deadlines are met
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, excellent attention to detail, highly organised and a multi-tasker. Delivering excellent customer service skills.
