Assistant Producer

An Assistant Producer will facilitate video and digital projects which align with both the business priorities and promotional activity. 


They will be involved in every stage of the programming.

What we are looking for?

An Assistant Producer with an exceptional eye for detail, strong research skills, great communication, and excellent organisational and time-management skills.  


Expert knowledge and a strong passion for creating ‘out the box’ and dynamic formats.


This person will facilitate video and digital projects which align with both the business priorities and promotional activity. They will be involved in every stage of the programming.


The Assistant producer will report into the Entertainment Producer and although they do not have direct reports it is expected they task manage a production team, and will occasionally be working from our London office.

What do I need?

  • Able to multi-task and to work to strict deadlines
  • Understands shooting with DSLR, Sony FS7 and XW160 cameras
  • Capable of making judgments and selections appropriate to show requirements, both live in the Gallery and in pre-recorded edits
  • Can develop an understanding of new technologies used in the delivery of a multi-platform programme and to use the equipment needed to execute this.
  • Able to operate a variety of editing software including Adobe Premiere and After Effects to a broadcast standard
  • Knows how to work well to tight deadlines.
  • Can build and maintain a proactive and collaborative relationship with in-house teams, and have an understanding of technical and delivery aspects of multi-platform production.
  • Can stay on top of updates and changes to channels, restrictions, branding and graphics.
  • Understands content staying within rights restrictions
  • Knows how to work closely with Promotions team and Chat for deeper understanding of product and game mechanics
  • Ability to write scripts and work with hosts to fine tune narrative
  • Create compelling and engaging content for all shows and promotional trailers taking into consideration brand and narrative
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power-point & Google Chrome  
  • Collect and monitor insights on what topics and formats perform best, and help to shape the editorial agenda.
