Your key responsibilities:

 

You will lead a team within the Studios Technical Management department, providing managerial and operational supervision of daily operations. Production technical ownership, facilitating successful production completion, guaranteeing all client technical requirements are met.

 

  • Primary point of contact for all members of the team, providing clear direction in line with values and vision of Sky Production Services
  • Responsible for all line management and performance management issues for direct reports.
  • Define and implement training and development requirements for all direct reports
  • Establish and maintain essential methods of communication within your team and across the wider department of Production Studios
  • Closely collaborate with zStudio Managers and Resource Supervisors on delivering the best service to our clients
  • Technical management of a group of productions within studios, co-ordinating and leading through all stages of production
  • Main point of contact for all technical aspects of production on specified studio days, managing any changes or problems that occur
  • Work with the team to constantly update equipment, processes and provide creative ideas and solutions to improve productions and the client experience.

  • Leader who is able to motivate a team
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and influential, with credibility within production and broadcast communities
  • A strong work ethic, with line management experience and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business when necessary
  • Outstanding leadership and organisational skills
  • Well-informed and up to date on broadcast developments and production processes
  • A practical understanding of all related disciplines in live and studio TV productions
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels of the business
  • Excellent client facing skills.
