Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, and manages a small team of two Finance Analysts. 

WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

This is an exciting role within the Group Finance team overseeing our 4 divisions which operate across 28 countries. Some of the key aspects of the role are to deliver and consolidate long term financial strategy for the business, including budgetingcommercial analysis and cash flow modelling


This is a diverse role and hold responsibility for projects such as process improvement. The successful applicant will be a key Finance contact for the business and will drive long term reporting projects.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?

  • You will manage & develop a team of two Finance Analysts & work closely with the shared service and divisional finance teams. 
  • Budget responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination of the budget process
  • Aggregation and production of the Group’s consolidated budget
  • Production of the Group’s Cash Flow Budget
  • Manage the production of the Group’s budget presentation for senior management and the Board
  • Perform relevant analysis on Group Financial KPI’s.

 

Long Term Planning responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Group’s financial long-term plan, incorporating the P&L, Cash  Flow & Balance Sheet
  • Evaluate and manage the financial impact of any material events that will give rise to a change to the long-term plan
  • Manage the production of relevant presentations for senior management and the Board
  • Re-build & enhance the Group’s long term financial model
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis on the Group’s financial performance.

 

Cash Flow Modelling responsibilities:

  • Manage the co-ordination and aggregation of the businesses cash requirements and forecasts
  • Ensuring the medium and long-term cash flow modelling is delivered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform continuous assessment and enhancement of the Group’s cash flow modelling processes
  • Manage the production of the Group’s statutory cash flow and debt compliance reporting.

 

Financial Systems Projects responsibilities:

  • Financial Modelling of the Businesses long term financial strategy
  • Manage the transition of the Long Term Financial Plan into the Planning & Reporting tool.

 

DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS

  • Qualified Accountant with either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • IT Skills (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Financial Modelling (Excel or other appropriate system)
  • Experience managing team members
  • Able to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills and able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data effectively
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Commercially aware
  • High attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and disciplined and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and the ability to present to senior individuals.
