Content Services Manager
As the Content Services Manager at Perform you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, transitioning and management of all content management services

WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?

The Content Services Manager will be dealing with external stakeholders, as well as multiple stakeholders internally.


This involves working closely with the Content Operations Manager, project managers, account managers, product development and operations divisions, to establish and run content management services across the business.


The Content Services Manager is required to work with the Content Operations Manager to fully scope and deliver service requirements from the pre-planning stage right through to the delivery of all videos, files and XML with clear lines of communication across all areas.   


This role will provide excellent stakeholder management, and have the ability to create clear processes, and to build the service side of new workflows delivered by the Content Operations Manager to ensure they meet SLAs in a cost efficient and stakeholder friendly way. T


he Content Services Manager will lead a large team across multiple locations to ensure the smooth running of all services.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE? – % of role

  • Provide front line planning and proactive management of all services across both regional and local teams. Responsible for the planning, management and delivery of all video production to specified stakeholders/ distribution points. People management and recruitment responsibilities. 20%
  • Ensuring all projects are progressing and completed successfully according to delivery SLA’s. 10%
  • Ability to multitask across several projects and setup delivery service method to a strict timeframe to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to stakeholder satisfaction. 5%
  • Collaborate with senior management, post production and the Content Operations Manager to meet deadlines and oversee defined department deliveries. Develop and maintain excellent working relations with commercial and technical teams, balancing their requirements and expectations with a service delivery model. 10%
  • Creation and implementation of new services. Analysing existing processes and enhancing them to ensure they are in line with the business needs, and proactively identifying new services as the business and technology requirements evolve. 20%
  • Creating and updating all service and process guidelines as and when there are project updates. Producing and communicating clear outlines for all products to ensure all teams have a clear understanding of what the project deliverables are. 10%
  • Producing detailed KPI and cost tracking reporting across all products. 5%
  • Help with issue resolution and work with the Content Operations Manager to troubleshoot commercial or technical issues or developments in an immediate fashion and the ability to offer alternative delivery methods to all internal and external stakeholders when required. 10%


DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

  • Understanding of various processes Content Management processes, services and delivery platforms. 4
  • An understanding of new technologies and how they would benefit existing services. 4
  • Knowledge of editing platforms and an understanding of formats and audio configurations. 3
  • Management of high profile accounts and stakeholders. 3


DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?

  • Experience of working as a project lead in sports media sector with a strong passion for both sports and digital technology
  • Experience with internet and mobile technologies.
